The Nexeed Automation platform combines all the advantages for machine manufacturers and operators. The platform is based on “Control plus”, the controller-independent software system. Its modular engineering approach allows machine and system manufacturers to realize their automation projects easily and cost-effectively. The software framework based on the IEC 6-1131 PLC standard, the extensive object library, and the visualization system are configured via the OES central development tool. This very quickly generates a testable software project which can be supplemented by process-specific sequences and functions.
Integrated engineering gives machine operators added value in the form of services and apps. The apps or assistant systems support the machine operator to handle diagnosis and troubleshooting throughout the machine’s life cycle, while ensuring constant high machine availability. The system can be integrated into customer-specific IT infrastructures via open IT standard interfaces, such as REST or OPC-UA, and also supplies machine, operation, and process data. Intelligent machines with a modern architecture make production fit for Industry 4.0.

Developing machines - Engineering System
Control plus helps you implement new machine and system projects within the shortest possible time. The user-friendly development environment allows you to apply projects in the fields of assembly, testing, and process engineering with a minimum of effort. Objects from the extensive library are easy to integrate in the project by drag&drop. The open framework is the basis for structured software generation to implement tasks easily in a wide variety of different applications.
The Control plus Engineering System is the central development tool for your project. This is where you program your project quickly and efficiently, independently of the control system manufacturer. Benefit from the unique system of central data input for control, visualization, and data management.
Machine visualization is fully integrated in the Control plus engineering system with display and editing functions. Visualization has a standardized basic framework with functionalities for user management, operating mode switchover, language setting, and fault display. The functions can be simply positioned by drag&drop. The use of objects offers many benefits: They include the control code as well as the matching visualization. In addition, Control plus can configure several user interfaces for each machine.
The Control plus Framework is a standardized programming framework for control technology and visualization. It offers an optimized, rapid, and efficient basis to create process-related machine sequences. The benefits are obvious: efficient project generation, reduced project risk, and multiple project reusability.
Besides templates, Control plus offers a large number of encapsulated, tested, and reusable objects. They are managed within the object library, regularly expanded by updates, and kept up-to-date. The object library can be viewed in the object browser. Each object is displayed together with all its characteristics.
