Efficient production planning
Increasingly more complex manufacturing processes with continually rising demands in terms of quality make flexibility a key requirement of Industry 4.0. Our solutions ensure that all users always have an overview. To do this, they take account of all relevant procedures, resources and capacities within production and create universal transparency for efficient planning. Any events that are encountered, such as malfunctions or downtimes, are displayed straightaway in real-time and enable a quick and flexible response to schedule changes. In this way, costs can be trimmed, processing times can be reduced and deadlines can be adhered to reliably.
Order management is an administrative tool for production orders that are allocated to a line and dealt with sequentially. Here, the line or its stations provide feedback on the current progress of the order. As soon as the order quantity is reached, the system switches automatically to the next order. This switchover can be used for automatic tooling of the station. Orders can be made available to the lines via order handling client, connection to SAP order manufacturing or via machine communication. If SAP order manufacturing is used, feedback to the SAP system can be provided for every produced part.
Control of production flow and material flow
Control of the production flow and material flow safeguards the order of the process and ensures optimal capacity utilization of the production lines. It controls the parts and makes sure that they follow a certain procedure. Moreover, it synchronizes the entire flow of material and information so that the goods are delivered at the right time to the right place in the requisite quantity and at the desired level of quality. Different processing orders can be defined individually and established for different types. Faults are detected and rectified at an early stage of the value stream.
Program administration makes the currently enabled programs available for the machines within production. It serves as a means of central version management of NC programs, screw/bolt tightening programs and control programs so that the latest versions are available in the right order at all times. Manual provisioning of the programs is assured by the DNC client.
Formula management collects, manages and makes available all type files that are relevant for the manufacturing items. The saved data provide the machine with all relevant production parameters for the manufacture of this type. As such, the machine always knows which parameters it has to take account of during production.
With the aid of document management, it is possible to store and archive documents automatically without restriction. In this way, costs can be saved, processes can be accelerated and workflows improved throughout the site. Preprepared templates can be saved in the system, thereby making efficient handling of important documents possible. Paperless manufacture offers fast access to all important documents and protects against any loss of paperwork.
Item list management
Item lists are essential in design engineering, production, assembly or order processing. They enable the efficient and transparent processing of stock, reserves, requests or production orders. With our item list management tool, we offer reliable software with comprehensive functions for the central management of item lists. This ranges from offline management to complete SAP connection.
Shift scheduling and control
Shift schedules are essential for trouble-free processes in production. With efficient shift scheduling and control, it is possible not only to adhere to deadlines but also to optimize machine capacity utilization in the long-term. We have developed a central tool for managing and documenting scheduled and unscheduled shift events in real-time. The platform communicates the current status of the shift and, in doing so, provides transparency in production. Shift models with repeat events can be saved in advance and implemented in the schedules. In this way, changes in the shift are visible to all members of staff at a glance.
Block management makes it possible to block production batches by means of defined batch numbers. A choice between soft and hard blocks can be made here. The latter blocks the production batch immediately and passes on the information to material management so that no further defective parts can be produced. Soft blocks allow the production batch to run on initially up to the loading process so that a potential fault can be clearly identified. If a fault is determined after manual inspection, the block can be given a higher priority. Should it transpire that the potential fault is incorrect, the block can be lifted. The soft block is mainly suitable for situations in which long periods out of use need to be avoided.
