Our Digital Twin Registry on the Cofinity-X marketplace
Bosch Connected Industry has become an official partner of Cofinity-X. As of now, our Digital Twin Registry from the Bosch Semantic Stack portfolio will be available to users of the Cofinity-X marketplace to implement sustainable use cases in the Catena-X data space.
Cofinity-X is the first and only operator for Catena-X data spaces. With its collaborative and open data ecosystem of partners, Cofinity-X enables the implementation of digital solutions along the entire automotive manufacturing value chain, always in compliance with the Catena-X standards. Cofinity-X’s marketplace allows its partners to offer their Catena-X certified apps and software components to its members.
Thanks to the partnership with Cofinity-X, the Digital Twin Registry from Bosch Connected Industry is now also part of the marketplace. The registry, which was officially certified by Catena-X in 2023, forms the basis for managing and controlling digital twins. Like an almost infinitely scalable telephone book, each company can store its own digital twins in a decentralized manner and assign aspects to them. The Digital Twin Registry is already in use at Bosch, comprising hundreds of millions of digital twins. The data space operated by Cofinity-X enables users of the Digital Twin Registry to exchange digital twins easily and securely for repeated and permanent application in joint use cases.
